15K down... several more to go

Just ran a 15K this morning. I've certainly felt better before, but it is nice to know that my masochism allowed for me to achieve my best 15K time yet (results below).

It was a good run, but I was feeling the effects of all of the biking I have been doing around the city. Right thigh and flexor were killing me half way through. Of course, we learn from our pain. I felt like walking for a bit, but there are times when I consider the Christian teachings over my Aethist beliefs. If He could create the world in seven days and just spend one day afterwards resting I should have no complaints running a little race in just an hour.

I wish I could say I am going to rest right now, but I am on my way to see Jake Murphy's "dirt floors and stone walls fundraiser" (http://on.fb.me/ghZ5sL). He is trying to raise money and awareness for the under educated children living in the slums of India. His photographs are absolutely stunning and it is remarkable what he has done so far, so it is certainly worth the support.

more to come.....
